Hiele and Ben Bertrand are playing live together for the first time. Hiele’s music surfaces in the form of hard to define electronica, built on a long-time obsession for synthetic sound creation and jazz. On stage, he plays with expectations, bypassing what is considered conventional, blending improvisational and classical elements into a no-nonsense personal idiom. Ben Bertrand is a Belgian bass clarinetist and composer. With his instrument and countless machines, he creates his live sets with a hypnotic web of sounds. Listening to his music is like sitting at the sea, watching a slow motion version of our crazy lives sailing by. They now join forces, intent on combining both of their unique musical idioms.
