Jeugdbrand is the voice of Ultra Eczema’s Dennis Tyfus and the beat of Jeroen Stevens, both from Antwerp, Belgium. They perform a sparkling drama, a theatrical tragedy, flavored with an anarchic sense of humor. Tyfus contributes a wormhole congested with characters, one more tragic than the next. Dramatic, boastful, silly and urgent, he provides a verbal soundscape that is un-arbitrary and poignant. Stevens provides a soundtrack of fragmentation and intent, punctuation and educated absurdity. Jeugdbrand are incomprehensible, hilarious, serious, ludicrous, well crafted, sloppy and very much not focused on genre. They have released the Siamese Dream album on Edições CN and Smile on Feeding Tube Records.
