Formed by visual artist Nicole Martens and curator Femke Dekker STRANGE BOUTIQUE is a musical playground for two opinionated kindred spirits. With a fondness of the strange, the weird, the psychedelic and some cosmic grooves, they explore the boundaries between both their auditory and visual voices. The accumulation of their individual input leads to layered work that uses various media to tell their story, seeking out both the obscure and objects hiding in plain sight.
Their monthly special on Red Light Radio under the name of Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting has lead to a steady congregation willing to follow Strange Boutique on their path of eclectic exploration.
